Objective:
To identify, assess, and mitigate potential negative impacts of our operations and business relationships on human rights, in line with international standards.
Scope:
Applies to all projects, subcontractors, employees, and suppliers operating under FAP Power Solutions.
Procedure:
1. Risk Identification On a project-by-project basis, we identify possible human rights risks (e.g., unsafe working conditions, discrimination, forced labor risks in the supply chain).
2. Stakeholder Engagement We communicate with employees, subcontractors, and clients to understand risk exposure and gather input.
3. Assessment Tools We conduct assessments using internal checklists and templates aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and Canadian labor standards.
4. Mitigation Measures Where risks are identified, we develop mitigation plans including training, improved oversight, or changing suppliers.
5. Monitoring and Reporting Risks and corrective actions are documented, tracked, and reviewed annually. Any serious incidents are escalated to management immediately.
6. Review This procedure is reviewed annually by the Health, Safety, and Compliance team.
